Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Do not say, 'I’ll pay you back for this wrong!' Wait for the LORD, and he will avenge you." I think Jesus had this in mind when he told his disciples to forgive up to 'seventy time seven.' In other words, forgive unconditionally. Vengeance is God's. Judgment is something God alone can give. Our part if to forgive those who have sinned against us just as we have been forgiven, through Christ, for the sins we have committed against God. 'As I have forgiven you, so forgive one another.'
