Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Admitting a mistake is a very difficult thing to do. We are taught these days to look out for ourselves, and a natural result of that is that we often do not think about the pain we sometimes cause others. And even if we do think about it we still do not do all the necessary things to make up for that mistake. Israel struggled with the same problem. They were sinful, so God punished them. And rather than return to the Lord they kept moving away from him. They were ashamed of their sin, so they hid. We must never hide from sin. The only way to defeat is admit that we have sinned and accept God's grace, his full and unconditional pardon. God bless you.
