"Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands." Fear, here, means respect, just to clarify. Our lives will be blessed if we love God and show that love for God. If we live the life God wants us to live God will reward our efforts, he will reward our faithfulness. The best way for us to have a good life is to do all the things God calls us to do, to be the people he wants us to be. If we respect God, if we love him, if we do what he tells us, our lives will be blessed. God bless you.
