Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Put your sword away!" This, I think, falls into the category of turning the other cheek. We will, as Jesus tells us, face persecution. And when we do Jesus would have us turn the other cheek, to bear the cross that has been given us. Remember Jesus, that as he was put on trial he did not open his mouth to defend himself. Jesus could have fought back, he could have talked his way out of being crucified. But he carried his cross, he endured what God put in front of him. And he did all of this without lifting a hand in violence. Let Jesus be your example when you are faced with percecution. God bless you.
