Ezra 6: 1-12; The Decree of Darius

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

God uses people to bring about his will on earth. God uses Cyrus to restore the people to the Promised Land, and he uses Darius to make sure the Temple is rebuilt. Throughout the entire Bible we can find example after example of God using people to bring about his will. Our ears need to be opened for the voice of God. God wants to use us as well. He wants to enlist us in his service that we might work for him and continue the ministry of Jesus. Just as God used Cyrus and Darius, just as God used the prophets he wants to use us as well. We need to pay attention so we can know what God wants to use us for. God bless you.
