Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul says something in his letter to the Ephesians that I think fits well with this part of Amos: "Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel..." It is not easy to share the words God gives, for those words are sometimes words of judgment that no one wants to hear. Amos, like Paul after him, needed God to come into his life and give him strength to proclaim the message God had given him. This is our prayer as well, or it should be: that God will give us the strength we need to speak the words he gives us. God will answer that prayer. When God calls us to proclaim the gospel that also comes with a promise that God will help us do it. God bless you.
