Sunday Scripture and Sermon for June 28, 2009

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

This Sunday is stewarship Sunday. I encourage you all to think and pray very hard about your gift(s) to the church, so that together we can continue Christ's work in the world.

The Scripture passage for this Sunday comes from Ephesians 4: 7-13, in which Paul gives us an idea of what we are all called to do. The sermon is titled 'Our Calling,' and will focus on the calling we all share as Christians, which is to make sure the work of Jesus continues in this world. I hope to see you all on Sunday.
