Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul begins all of his letters by thanking God for the people to whom he is writing. Before he gets into any admonitions, theology, or anything else he tells the people, in this case the Colossians, that he is thankful for them. How often do we thank God for one another? We are blessed to have companions in our faith, brothers and sisters in Christ who will bear with us as we go through our journey of faith. We are not alone. Not only do we have Jesus, we also have each other. Each and every day we should take time to remember how much of a blessing it is to have brothers and sisters in Christ; and each and every day we should remember to thank God for each other.
