The Scripture lesson for this Sunday is Jonah 1: 1-17, in which Jonah is called by God to prophesy to the town of Nineveh but instead runs away. The sermon is titled 'Mercy and Compassion,' and will focus on the lesson we get from Jonah to find mercy and compassion from those around us. I hope you all are able to make it to worship on Sunday.
